radio conversation
A spoof vox pop programme concerning the recent sightings of a Great
White Shark in Blyth. Included is a handy tip to beat the Shark, punch it
in the nose.
eartiques
The philosopher Ludwig Wittengstein commented once how stories are like coats;
hand-me-down tales that we wear and give away.
Eartiques are a combination of eavesdroppings, non-jokes, aphorisms and absurd
tales.
spare time
Originally titled “notes from a mental breakdown” these short
haiku’s or poems/statements envelope the tragic consequences of having
too much spare time that your mind reflects in on itself and creates imaginary
circumstances.
it’s a cut up
Cut-up’s were invented by Brion Gysin and practiced by William Burroughs,
where they would collage together text from newspapers, thus creating a ‘hybrid’
article.
Take one talking book (or as many as possible) and cut up the sentences/ word/
grammar to reveal a humorous slant on the content of text and it’s identitiy,
shifting contexts we are able to hear the unconscious book.
